Bipolar Disorder

It is very unfortunate that I have to title this post as "Bipolar Disorder". The reason I have to do it is because that's what the search engines understand, and most likely the words you searched for, and landed here.

Now that you are here, let's drop that label, or any such similar labels like psychosis, mania, hypomania, hypermania, depression, suicidal depression, anxiety disorder, etc., No label is going to help solve any issues, especially when it comes to mind-related situations. Why? Because the label is itself mind-made and mind cannot solve its own problems!

Any such diagnosis due to mental suffering is actually a portal into spiritual awakening. How do I know this? Having been diagnosed with several of these disorders myself, I started looking for solutions on how to end the suffering the mind was causing. I found the answers in Eckhart Tolle's book "The Power of Now". If you are reading this, I would urge you to look into this book and Eckhart Tolle's YouTube videos. These have helped me transmute a disorder into fuel for spiritual awakening. When the mind and the world are benign, we have no need to awaken out of our minds - the dream of mind is so inebriating that we would rather remain in the dream than wake up! Only when our mind creates suffering, we are forced into awakening. In this sense, all mental disorders are for those of us who are ready to awaken. But there is a catch!

The catch is that majority of the world is still operating through mind domination. We can't afford to live in this world without continuously fitting into the rules and regulations of the world. So we have to be forced back into school/work/family, etc., as quickly as possible to get us to fit in. You can't be different and still live in the world "normally". We will ourselves be convinced quickly that this is the way forward for us, since our own minds are conditioned by the collective mind of the society. It is fine if we have to temporarily go through this.

Having been through tremendous suffering myself, I can confidently declare that all such sufferings are portals into awakening. Temporarily we may need help from the "normal" people who run psychiatry practices, health insurance, and pharmaceutical companies (the collective madness of this industry is well understood now), but let them not convince you that your situation is permanent. We can all awaken the moment we practice Presence, as explained in Eckhart Tolle's works. In fact, we are most likely the only ones who will awaken at the current stage of evolution the world is in - the others are most likely too attached to their mind-created dreams to start disidentifying from their minds.

I sincerely hope that you will read the book "The Power of Now" and transform your disorder into spiritual awakening, just like I am doing now.

Namaste!
